Wellbeing at Work

This introductory workshop explores what health and wellbeing really means, why it is important, and how it relates to each member of your staff.

Participants will learn nutrition basics, how to incorporate yogic practices into the workday, sleep tips and more. This workshop will engage your staff with content that is genuinely helpful and provide hints on how to eat well, be more active at work as well as manage stress in the workplace.

Everyday Nutrition

These days, it's hard to know the facts about nutrition with all the different information flying around. Let our trained PreKure health coaches educate and empower your staff to make informed nutritional decisions based on current research.

 

Participants will learn about the role food plays in their lives, how what they eat impacts them, and how to listen to their bodies. Plus, find out exactly what to eat to boost nutrition and stay healthy.

Energy Slump Buster

Having a hard time focusing or feeling sluggish in the afternoon? Want to find out why we often have this afternoon slump plus understand the role of nutrition and movement in boosting energy? Then this workshop is for you! 

Participants will learn what foods fuel their energy and what zaps it. Plus, practical ways of increasing and maintaining energy through movement, mindfulness, and breathing exercises.

Reduce costs

Effective workplace wellness initiatives is good for business! The Southern Cross Workplace Wellness Report 2019 showed that in 2018 New Zealand lost 7.4 million working days and 1.7 billion to staff absence.

When staff believe their wellbeing is important and a priority, they are more engaged at work. It can also create a sense of belonging, help increase staff morale, and improve job satisfaction levels.

Staff spend about 1,900 hours a year at work, so it is important to invest in their wellbeing and create a culture of health. It can help reduce absenteeism, retain staff, and even be an incentive to new employees.

Investing in workplace wellness increases productivity. Research carried out by University of Warwick (2015) showed that staff performance and productivity increased by 12% when they were happy.
